How does the Cubbie Box work?
Simply place a Little Cubbie toy on top of the Box. The Box recognises the character and begins its stories, songs and activities—no screen or complicated menu needed.
Can children use it by themselves?
Yes. Tap-and-play is built to encourage independent play. The light-up ears act as simple controls and let children answer questions during interactive moments.
Does the Box listen to my child?
No. The Cubbie Box does not listen in. It is designed as a privacy-first experience without an always-listening microphone.
Does it need Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is needed for initial setup and content updates. Once content is ready, everyday Cubbie Box play works without Wi-Fi.
When is the Box especially useful?

How is this different from ordinary screen time?
Cubbie Play is designed to make screen time purposeful. It favours storytelling, listening and thoughtful interaction over fast, addictive graphics and endless scrolling.
Where can we use Cubbie Play?
It is especially handy while travelling by car, flight or train, on holidays, and in public places such as restaurants—when a calm, familiar activity can make the moment easier.
